On Saturday, January 13th, the band performed a fundraiser for the Drama and Music departments of Niagara Catholic High School in Niagara Falls. A crowd of Chicago-loving fans and friends of the school braved ridiculously cold winter temperatures — with wind chills well into the double-digit negative Fahrenheits — to hear what the band thought was one of our best-sounding shows. More importantly, 100% of the proceeds from ticket and concession sales (including band merch) went to the school.
The room itself is a “gymatorium”. Anyone who knows anything about acoustics in a high school gym knows that it is not the best place to hold a concert. But this room is much better than a typical gym. It has some of the best acoustics we’ve heard!
Many thanks to everyone who attended!
